Landscape Under Skin Theatre trainings and workshops are an immersion into Butoh-based image work, where the body is stripped of habit to become a site of mutation. Through word-images, we carve inner landscapes that summon buried memories, sensory remnants, and environmental embodied forces. These images inhabit the flesh, alter posture, fracture rhythm, and generate movement as bodily metaphors.
The attention is put on the porousness of our body moving through the world and the world passing through our body leaving imprints and changes within both. Through these, we access an ecology dance of the becoming-other that allows us to move our environement and be moved by it.
Trainings and workshops can be outdoor or indoor and designed for a specific event, theme, social issue, place, object or text... accessible to everyone.

While listening to an audio movement exercise or after watching an exercise video, take a walk: in and around your house, in a park, in the city, on a trail… pay particular attention to what is unusual, unearthing poetic images from imperfections and flaws. Gather your own sensed encounters and connections with the world, the founding material with which you will build up your Poems in Motion. Explore your environment as everything that is not you, all that is Other, and let this otherness become extension of yourself. Start from this inner landscape to build new ways of moving. Re-imagine your embodied landscape of memories, assemble it in different manners, and let the newly found surfacing images transforming sensations into movements. You are now dancing the becoming-other dance.
Wear the world as bodily metaphors moving you...
